Bronson South Haven Hospital
EV was hired as a design-build partner by Bronson Healthcare to facilitate the construction process of a replacement hospital – Bronson South Haven Hospital. Unlike the existing building, the focus was to create an efficient, cost-effective hospital that would be right-sized for both the community and for the intended types of services rendered.

Southridge Behavioral Hospital
EV partnered with Universal Health Services (UHS) and Trinity Health on complete preconstruction and construction services for a new, 96-bed behavioral health hospital. The roughly 73,500-SF facility is built on 8.3 acres off 64th Street in Byron Center, Michigan. The facility also includes dining, administration areas and offices, a dedicated kitchen, patient activity courtyard and indoor gymnasium.

Division Avenue Fire Station
An existing warehouse located at this site was demolished to make way for a new 18,900-SF station. The two-story building will have three apparatus bays, GRFD operations, a fitness room, and a training/community room on the main level. Living quarters on the second floor include dorm rooms, a day room, a kitchen, and officers’ quarters.

Pine Rest Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health
The Pine Rest Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health is a new, state-of-the-art space tailored specifically to meet the behavioral health treatment needs of Michigan’s kids. Located on Pine Rest’s Southeast Grand Rapids campus on 68th Street SE, this single-destination facility will greatly expand access to behavioral health services statewide, meeting the unique needs of pediatric patients, their families, and caregivers and ensuring children and teens receive timely services
